About
About this site.
The site
btplens.dev is the home of BTP Lens and a blog about application security, lifecycle risk and software supply chain hygiene on SAP BTP, for the people who run SAP extension apps. Posts name their sources. Numbers, dates and version numbers that could not be sourced are marked for review rather than smoothed over. Posts that mention BTP Lens say so, and they are written to be useful to someone who never installs it.
The author
Sebastiano Marchesini is a solution architect focused on SAP BTP, an SAP Champion, SAP PRESS author and SAP Learning instructor, and an IEEE Senior Member. He maintains BTP Lens, a free, open-source scanner for SAP BTP Cloud Foundry apps.
How it is made
Static HTML built with Astro and served from Cloudflare. No cookies, no third-party requests, and the pages read without JavaScript. The three fonts are self-hosted under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Drafts are prepared with AI assistance and reviewed by the author before publication; the line under each title says so.
